Devon-based machinery dealership Robert Cole Agricultural Engineers has been announced as a new Vogelsang dealer for south-west England.

Robert Cole Agricultural Engineers currently operates out of Holsworthy and is a dealership for JCB, Krone, Albutt, NC Engineering and Spread-a-Bale.

The dealership will sell Vogelsang's full range, including equipment such as the BlackBird trailing shoe, SwingMax dribble bar and XSplit separator range.

Vogelsang's agricultural sales manager, Andy Hayhurst spoke about the expansion of the brand's dealer network.

He said: "The team at Robert Cole is perfectly placed to sell Vogelsang products throughout the south-west and will have the full support of our dedicated agricultural team here in the UK.

"It is exciting to be welcoming another new dealer and we hope that this will reinforce our support of customers in this region."

Dealer principal Bob Oates bought the business from its founders Robert and Annette Cole in 2018.

Since then, he has been building the team while pushing the company forward with his wife and fellow director, Kerry Oates.

Speaking about the expansion, Bob Oates said: "We have an established team of 17 staff helping with everything from sales to administration and felt that the opportunity to become a Vogelsang dealer was too good to miss.

"As we are based in a strong livestock, particularly dairy farming region, there is demand for accurate and efficient slurry machinery and we look forward to working with customers old and new.

The dealership is planning on attending Holsworthy and Stratton, Okehampton and North Devon shows next month to publicise their partnership with Vogelsang.

"We look forward to discussing the product range with visitors,” Oates said.

The dealership has recently purchased new premises on Holsworthy Industrial Estate, which are currently being developed into a purpose-built facility to enable the business to grow.
